moms are the best thing in the world !

We shout at her, we make fun of her, we hurt her, but still she never ever gives up on us...
The first person whom we see when we open our eyes for the first time is her ... The first time we smile is in front of her...The first time we cry is in front of her...The first time we walk is in front of her... The first time we dance is in front of her..The first time we run is in front of her...The first time we shout is at her...The first person with whom we play is her...and the most important one... The first time we talk is to her and the first word that comes out is "ma" ...SHE is the only reason for our big firsts in life...

Her heart beats for us... she has no expectations from us what so ever... but still she is always there for and with us....

    School days


I am sure most of us were least interested to go to school...We just had to go to the class , sit and listen to the teachers and study well with no responsibilities apart from scoring good marks :P...
She sacrifices her happiness, her career, her time just to make us happy by buying us all the fancy stuff, by cooking  delicious food, by taking us out every month...
When we come back home depressed, she cracks jokes which brings a smile on our face...
SHE takes care of our daily needs be it in terms of emotions or other materialistic things..
We fall , we hurt ourselves and she will have tears in her eyes...that is the emotional bonding we share with her...She is the only one who genuinely cares about us...Sometimes we shout at her for not getting us everything we want, but we never realize the intention behind it... it is just because , she teaches us not to be greedy in life... She forces us to study just because she wants us to be independent in life...

College Days

 This is a phase of life when we were neither kids nor adults... we were teenagers...A phase where we meet so many people and some of them turn out to be the closest pals. Without them we feel lonely, but we never realize that SHE is always there for us... We go through a lot of emotional stress due to exams, competitions, but she never loses faith in us...We shout at her for no reason yet she comes back and asks what is the matter...SHE makes sure that everything is fine and consistently motivates us... SHE takes our success as hers, SHE takes our failure as hers... but never gives up...

Small incidents like SHE coming and feeding us when we don't feel like eating... SHE secretly giving us pocket money without telling dad, SHE giving us that EXTRA freedom .... is what goes unnoticed...SHE prays for our well being and not her's...SHE is not selfish, greedy,egoistic...

SHE is the reason for our existence, even now when we sneeze , we call out her name "ma" unintentionally...
when we feel sad we go and cry on her shoulders, and the most beautiful thing is, irrespective of our age, she still considers us a new born baby...

SHE is the BEST in the whole world and nobody can replace her...
Now its our turn to take care of her like a small baby without any expectations and always be with her for life.
SHE is a part of US...WE are because of HER...

Side Effects Of A Gold Medal !!!!!

" This blog is not to praise myself nor demean others who don't have a GOLD MEDAL.This blog is just to share my experience I have had with people after getting a gold medal in Engineering."
        A big round of applause to Manasi MR for getting a gold medal for topping the university for her branch ,I still remember this day "Jan 08th 2010", when I was felicitated by the VTU chairman and was awarded a gold medal for topping in my branch. Indeed, it was a great moment, a special moment which cannot be put in words. This was the greatest achievement of my life and the result of my hard work and perseverance. It took days for me to sink in the thought of being a gold medalist.
       As days passed by, I realized the side effects of being a gold medalist.
July 2009, was when our results were announced and my lecturers were expecting a gold medal.

       I have come accross the most weird moments after getting a gold medal.

 1) It is close to impossible to get a job, if you are not placed

       I was at home with no job close to 6 months.I was an average student.Whenever I used to go for giving any interview, I had to face rejection. I had no clue why I was getting rejected. I tried applying for companies which worked on core industry for lesser salary ( 5K per month ), but still had no luck !
One day, I just took time off and thought as to why I was getting rejected even after doing so well in the interviews.
       Next day there was an interview with one small core company.The HR asked me " what guarantee will you give us that you won't leave the company? ". I was stunned by her question which made me realize that people don't believe that a gold medalist also can work for 5k salary per month and that the company didn't want to take risk by hiring me !

 2) We are considered nerds all the time

       After I got a job at Oracle, I started meeting new people, making new friends. Often I was asked this question " what do you do on weekends? " and even before I could answer, people used to speculate and say " dude she sits and studies on weekends!"

      Having a gold medal does not mean that a person is always into books. He/She has a life apart from books.

 3) Dude she listens to english music and all !

      This was infact the most weird comment ever !
     What the hell has english songs got to do with a Gold Medal?!
      When I used to talk about recent releases , people used to ask me " You listen to english music? You watch TV?! "

         I am not an alien, I am a simple, average human being who likes watching TV, likes listening to music, loves singing and dancing, loves playing all kinds of sports, more importantly believes in living life to the fullest !

 4) Dude ! she cannot marry  a normal person

    If I am a gold medalist , I don't expect my guy also to be a gold medalist.
    Getting a gold medal is not a big deal at all ! Anybody can work hard for it and get it !
    I am normal and would want to marry a normal person only !
    Even before me rejecting the guy, the guy might reject me because of my gold medal.. You never know !

      Any person who gets a gold medal is not an alien but a human being. He/She has a life apart from books. They can be fun loving, need not be serious and nerd at all !

    HOPE this opens few of my friend's eyes and they treat me normally ! :P

TRANQUILITY

When was the last time you slept on your mother's lap!!

I am sure it would have been a long time for majority of us to have done that.
  In this era, where life is all about making money,being successful, we tend to forget that there exists a beautiful thing in our life called " MOTHER ".

  I understand the fact that people are busy with their own lives.Few are bored of doing the same kind of work again and again,few are upset about the fact that their boyfriend/girlfriend ditched them,few would be struggilng to get a job somewhere,few would be working hard for their entrance exams,few others would be cursing their lives as to why did they ever do their engineering and some of them would be wondering about what they are doing in their lives.

   Perhaps, this is the time where we need to go back and value some of the precious things in our lives which are not so important for our career but ourselves.

 There are times when we feel low for no reason at all and that moment we feel like going far away from anything and everything.

I have heard people saying that they would love to go to scenic places to achieve a certain amount of normalcy into their lives. People go to munnar, the himalayas and so many other places to ease out their tensions and worries.

  The BEST place where you can feel the tranquility is the mother's lap. No place can replace this wonderful gift of god.Trust me, its the most serene place ever !

   After a long day of heavy work just go and rest on your mother's lap, you can feel the tranquility of this place.Its so pure,so calm that you forget all your worries in your life.

We usually tend to overshadow such beautiful moments unknowingly.
We need to make a small effort to value such priceless moments in life.

LOVE Just never ends !

LOVE is ambiguous, LOVE is unexplainable, LOVE Is just a feeling that has to be felt. Even if not expressed , it shoud be understood.
     One day, I had been for a walk in the park , I saw an old couple sitting together talking about something. They were giggling, laughing and very happy.
     The lady looked very pretty wearing a simple saree without a pin attached and had draped it in the most simple manner. She had not combed her hair nor was wearing a matching blouse.
     The man looked like an army man and was well dressed.
After sometime, they got up to take a walk and the man held the lady's hand firmly and I realized that the lady was partially blind. I went upto them and asked the old man about the lady. He told me that five years back she was affected by glaucoma and she lost her sight and became partially blind.


    I was shocked listening to this but to add to it one good thing was the man was still with her. I was happy to learn that SINCERE LOVE still exists!!
    I feel happy whenever I see old couples holding hands firmly in such a way that nobody can break their bonding and make them look like made for each other couple.
LOVE is beyond external beauty, skin colour , dressing sense and so on !!
       As and when we grow old, we tend to lose our young age freshness, we tend to lose our hair, we tend to lose our so called " dressing sense" ( hardly should matter in love ), we tend to become fat and so on..In spite of all these, a man/ woman  still loves you is indeed true love !!



      Finding true love is tough but once you find it , DONT  EVER LOSE IT !
    LOVING someone, taking care of someone is beyond all these boundaries.
   When you love a person, you just LOVE him/her. YOU will not have any reason to love someone.


      Holding hands when you are 60, getting jealous at 60 when your partner talks to somebody else , feeding your loved one with your hands is something you would cherish for your whole life.


LOVE just grows with you. You become old but LOVE never gets old, it gets matured day by day .
LOVE remains young within YOU FOREVER !!!!!

chit picking system!!!!

Never in my life had i ever imagined tat picking a chit would be such a tedious task!! I still remem my engg days, during my 5 th sem, I had to stand in line to pick a chit during my lab externals. It is such a weird feeling, even before u pick the chit, u start thinking abt writing the program or a ckt diagram!! :D........... Always wished to get an easy experiment !! ( which never worked !! P )....
And when i had my turn to pick up the chit, i would be left with 2 or 3 chits..and use to think - if I pick the right one , I would get an easy exp then i would think " NO NO , the left one would be better "........
thousands of buterflies roaming inside my stomach :P ,, such a weird feeling !! and finally use to land up with the MOST TOUGHEST EXPERIMENT....LOL :D ........

masala dosa

The best exampe for "bad customer care" would be vidhyarthi bhavan in bangalore !!

Yesterday evening , suddenly out of nowwhere, I realised that I had this desire of having vidhyarthi bhavan masala dosa ( so called ' best place for masala dosa').So, I stepped into the hotel, guess what ! I could smell the aroma of masala dosa, set dosa, maddur vada and so on !!...

As soon as I entered, I could see a huge number of people who were waiting for an oppurtunity to grab a place for themselves .
The best part is that , you can stand anywhere and everywhere and nobody would even ask you neither invite you !!...

As everyone did,I too stood for around 20 to 30 mins..after few minutes I saw an empty place at the end. I just ran to hold that place without even realising that there were four people waiting for it !!!! Oh God !! it was so embarrasing !!

Finally got a place for myself and my sister, Ordered two plate masala dosa. By the time I got my masala dosa, I was half dead with my mouth watering !!!

" If you have a desire to eat something, and you get to eat that !! IT IS THE BEST FEELING EVER !!!!!!!!! ... my hard work paid off !!! :p
